Prism designs residential and commercial buildings across Metro Vancouver. Each project is a response to its site, program, and the people who will inhabit it.
View Selected Work →A selection of residential and commercial work across British Columbia.
We believe buildings are arguments. Arguments about how we inhabit land, how we relate to one another, how we mark time. Every project begins with a question about what the building needs to say — and ends only when that argument is resolved, in material, in light, in space.
Our practice is intentionally small. We take on fewer projects so that each one receives our full attention. We work with clients who understand that good architecture takes time, and that the result is worth it.
Our Approach →Adam founded Prism in 2009 after working with practices in Vancouver and Zürich. His work focuses on the relationship between building and landscape, particularly in the complex terrain of the North Shore.
Mia leads Prism's commercial and heritage projects. Before joining the practice, she spent four years working on adaptive reuse projects in Montreal's Mile End neighbourhood.
Lucas joined Prism after completing his M.Arch at UBC. He brings expertise in parametric design methods and computational visualization, and leads the firm's digital representation work.
